Next Session of Parliament.
The' new Parliament is now unlikely to meet until the end of June. An earlier me’eting to pass legislation reducing the wages tax in May in accordance with the Government’s promise had been tentatively considered by the Labour caucus, but it is now probable that the reduction Will be made undei- the Emergency Regulations Act. A later sitting of Parliament Will give the Minister of Finance (Mr. Nash) ample. time to attend- the international trade conference; which.will open in Geneva in April, and be back for the session.
