POSTAL WORKERS REJECT EXECUTIVE’S PLAN COURT DECISION AWAITED MELBOURNE, February 3. Postal workers have rejected their union executive’s recommendation that they take direct action to gam improved wage and working standards. They decided to withhold action until the court had adjusted the basic wage and dealt with the Postal Workers’ Union’s application for higher marginal rates and wage loadings. About 400 members of the union attended the meeting.
