University at Hiroshima. The Kyodo News Agency reports that Dr. K. Brumbaugh, of the American Foreign Mission, has chosen atomic-bombed Hiroshima, as the site for a Christian university. One Hiroshima resident offered his property for the purpose.—Tqkio, December 5.
Dismissal Notices Cancelled. The Willesden Council has decided to cancel dismissal notices given to two doctors and 50 nurses at the Willesden municipal and maternity hospitals. The council decided to recognise any association or body which was able to negotiate for members of the staff who were dismissed. The doctors and nurses had received notices terminating their engagements on December 3, because they were not members of a trade union. —London, Dec, 4.
