Andrews, aged 28. of Timaru, to the conservatoriurr as part of his rehabilitation- course paying his fees and a living allowMr Andrews said alter his win that he hoped to persuade the. New Zealand Government to send him io Europe or the United States. Hf won the tenor championship with 175 points, two points ahead of the nearest competitor.
