JEWISH GENERAL STRIKE CALLED
(Rec. 12.45 p.m.) JERUSALEM, November 1. The Jewish National Council is calling a Palestine-wide strike on Sunday and the Arabs are holding big demonstrations to-morrow, on the anniversary of the Balfour Declara ti on An engine pulling a goods train from Haifa was derailed early this morning. The Palestine Government has prohibited the Arab organisations, Najada and Futuma, from -wearing uniforms.
