COMMERCIAL SALE OF ABERDEEN ANGUS BULLS
(P.A.) DANNEVIRKE, Oct. 17. Run Aberdeen Angus bulls, at the New Zealand Aberdeen Angus Breeders’ Association sale at Dannevirke yesterday realised 3520 guineas, as against 3860 in 1945. Last year’s average was 41 guineas, and yesterday’s 42 i. The total realisation for stud and run bulls was 11,040 guineas, an average of about 86.2 guineas a bull sold, as against 97.7 guineas in 1945.
