Britain’s Butter Ration Cut
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 20. The Ministry of Food announced to-day that Britain s butter ration will be cut from three ounces weekly to two for some weeks, beginning on Octo-’ ber 13. , The margarine ration is to be increased from three ounces weekly to four. The ration of seven ounces of fat weekly will be made up with one ounce of cooking fat.
