Participation in London Talks EARLY ENTRY POSSIBLE (Recd. 10.15 a.m.) JERUSALEM, September 19. The Zionist Inner Council at a meeting 1 to-day considered the matter of sending’ delegates from the Jewish Agency to the London conference on Palestine, but adjourned without reaching a decision. Before the meeting a spokesman said there might be differences of opinion within the movement, but not on the major points which were: —Firstly, Jews must, be free to select their own representatives for the conference; and, secondly, that Jews will only join in the talks provided the Morrison plan for federation is for all practical purposes dropped. The British Government had already been told it was impossible for one og’eney executive member to sit at the conference while a fellow member, Moshe Shertak, was held in Latrun Camp. The Zionist newspaper, Haboker, said t he possibilities of the Jewish participation in the conference were now very real.

The Stern Gang has issued posters denouncing Dr. Weizmann and Mr. Ben Gurion, declaring they are not speaking for the people of Palestine. Reuter’s Jerusalem correspondent reports that five armed men believed to be members of the Irgun Zyai Leumi raided the offices of the Exporters’ Association of Palestine, in Tel Aviv and escaped with £6OOO worth of goods. A New York message, says that, at a meeting of Jewish organisations today the New World Federation of Young Men’s Hebrew Associations and Jewish Community Centres was created to develop Jewish aims and communities throughout the woi Id with a combined membership exceeding 500,000. .
