NATIONAL SAVINGS
DISTRICT FAILS TO REACH QUOTA For the first time in many weeks the Westland district’s weekly national savings quota of £1,063 was not attained last week, investments being £24 below that total. For the remaining seven offices investments, with deficiencies indicated in parenthesis, were:—Waiuta, £l5 (£10); Hokitika, £165/16/(£l9/4/-; Ross, £5/11/- (£l9/9/-); Kumara, £l/2/- (£23/18/-); Brunnerton, £23/15/- (£26/5/-); Reefton, £46/8/- (£26/12/-); Greymouth £466/13/- (£53/7/-).
