Mr J. H. Watson left for Wellington by air this morning. Mr. C. N. Peryer, senior audit inspector, Railways Department, Wellington, arrived in Greymouth yesterday. He was accompanied by Messrs.' J. H. Wilson and G. G. McKeich. Messrs. K. G. Reid, J. J. McAlloon, J A. Martin (Wellington), and F. S. Gray (Christchurch), of the New Zealand Railways Department, are on a visit to the West Coast. Reference to the death of Mr. George Knapp was made by the president, Mr. B. F. Connors, at last evening’s meeting of the .executive of the I West Coast Rugby League. He said that Mr. Knapp and his family had been closely identified with the League code and a motion of condolence with the relatives was passed.
