(P.A.) AUCKLAND, August 9. The following is the England League team to play at Carlaw Park to-morrow: — Full-back: J. Jones or A. Risman. Three-quarters: E. Batten, E. Ward, B. Knowelden, A. Johnson. Half-backs: W. Davies, T. McCue. Forwards: B. Nicholson, G. Curran. K. Gee, L. White, T. Foster, I. Owens. English’ Engagements of Players (P.A.) AUCKLAND, August 8. No finality was reached at a conference between the New Zealand Rugby League Council and the managers of the English touring team regarding the transfer fee as it applied to the engagement of players from New Zealand to English clubs. The English officials gave an assurance the matter would be referred to the proper authorities, after •which a report would be submitted. An extra match against Auckland next Monday was agreed to .
