Messrs E. Pankhurst, A. Agnew and W. Waugh fere appointed to the management committee of St. John’s Presbyterian Church at the annual meeting of the congregation. Votes of condolence with the vicepresident, Mr. J.' M. Bunt, in the death of his brother-in-law, and with the secretary, Mr. J. Saunders, in the death of his. brother, were carried in silence at last evening’s meeting of the council of the Westland District Progress League.
