(Rec. 10.5 a.m.) OTTAWA, Aug. 6. The Bureau of Statistics reported a 1.5 increase in living costs in June, with a total advance of five points during the last four months. The increases included food, clothing, home furnishings and services, also in health maintenance and recreation. The Prices Board chairman, Mr. Donald Teordon, said that the increase had been largely expected and unavoidable, but was a matter of serious concern. He added that it was becoming extremely difficult to control prices.
