Mr. Bevin’s Health Improves
(Rec. 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 4. The Prime Minister, Mr Attlee, upon returning from Paris conferred with Mr Bevin, who is much better. An official announcement says that Mr Bevin is expected this week to attend a Cabinet meeting and proceed to Paris in a few days’ time to lead the United Kingdom delegation. The Exchange Telegraph states that Mr Attlee has meanwhile decided that the delegation shall at present be left under Mr A. V. Alexander’s care.
