WIN £2O CASH F« VOIIE RHS9NS AGAINST REGISTRATION OF WATCHMAKERS Yes. £2O can be yours for just plain and straight answers. Also £7 second prize and £3 third prize offered. All you have to do is write down your reasons for believing that the watchmaking trade of New Zealand should not be subject to registration in the future. Certain interested parties wish a Board to be set up to control the opening of further watchmaking and repairing businesses. Those established over 5 years would possibly have the right of registration and those established under 5 years would possibly have to apply for registration and to pass an examination. To test your reactions to this the £2O, £7 and £3 prizes are offered. Each person may send only one entry, with name and address added. Three independent judges will decide the best entries, and results will be published in this paper. All entries to bear post mark of not later than August 10th. Literary ability will not be taken into account—your reasons are all that’s required. All entries treated as absolutely confidential. Decide to try for one of the three prizes. Post your entry right away to: — The Secretary, Head Office, Association of Watch Repairers, P.O. Box 1226, CHRISTCHURCH.
