OFFICERS ELECTED
MEETING OF WESTLAND SURVEYORS Remits for the Dominion conference of surveyors were discussed by members of the Westland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors at the annua] meeting ai Hokitika on Tuesday. Mr H. Hutchinson was appointed delegate to the conference, which will be held at Wellington on September 5. - Mr J. Thorn was welcomed home after service overseas. The election of officers resulted as follows: Chairman, Mr T. Learmont (re-elected); secretary, Mr J. Thorn (re-elected); committee, Messrs N. Clay, H. Hutchinson, J. Mclntyre.
