WRESTLING McCready Beats Katau

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 1. The Wellington Towß Hall was packed to-night for the British Empire heavyweight wrestling title bout between Earl McCready, holder, and John Katan. It was probably the least spectacular bout of the season, because of the almost complete absence of showmanship. In the seventh round Pencheff secured a fall with a body press after a flying tackle and drop-kicks.
