AVONDALE Bated Well Placed in Main Event

The Plumpton Handicap, of one mile and three furlongs, will be the feature race on the Avondale Jockey Club’s card for to-morrow at Ellerslie. Some good recent form is represented in the race, with winners in Leigh Hark. Batal and Cracroft engaged, and Abbey Fox. Ruling Master, Royal Charter others with useful placed form.
