FOOD PURCHASES
MR NASH’S DISCUSSIONS IN LONDON [N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.] LONDON, May 30. Discussions on bulk purchase contracts for foodstuffs by the United Kingdom start on June 3. The United Kingdom will be represented by the Minister for Food (Mr. John Strachev) and Ministry of Food officials and New Zealand by Mr. Nash, departmental officers, and a representative of the New Zealand farmers’ delegation. Mr. Nash will meet the farmers for a preliminary discussion on June 1.
