Victory Parade. ' . Thirty-five squadrons which will fly i at 1000 ft over the heads of the crowd along the Mall in the Victory Parade will be marshalled and controlled by radar. Headquarters will be established at Marshland in the Thames Estuary out of sight of the course the aircraft will take; A squadron leader sitting in front of a cathode ray tube will watch the progress of the squadrons as they leave their bases in East Anglia, Kent and Sussex, and through a microphone will direct their courses. Two dog V.C.’s, Jet and Irma, will , participate in the Victory Parade with the Civil Defence Service.
