Alleged Murder or Parents. After the discovery at their Southport home of the bodies of Major and Mrs Heald, both of whom had been shot dead three or four days previously the police to-day arrested their 2*s’-year-old son, Kenneth, in the West End of London. The Chief Constable at Southport announced that the son, who was a former Merchant Navy officer will be charged with the murder of his parents.—London, April 20. Princess Elizabeth’s Birthday. Princess Elizabeth, who was 20 on Sunday, was given an ovation by a crowd of 40,000 at Windsor Castle. The Royhl Family sat at the windows of the Royal apartments overlooking the terraces, where the Guards’ bands played. The Princess several times leaned from the window and waved to the crowds in the sunbathed grounds.—London, April 21.
