Victory March in Australia.
A suggestion that a contingent of men from famous British regiments or from the three British services should be invited to Australia for a Victory March in Melbourne on June 10 will be considered by the Federal Government. The idea was put forward by the Acting-Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sir Thomas Nettlefold, at a reception given in the Town Hall to MajorGeneral K. W. Eather and other high officers of the services. The Air Minister (Mr. J. M. Drakeford) said that he would pass the suggestion on to the Cabinet. —Melbourne, April 22.
