BEAUMONT Divorced in Favour for Chief Event

[SPECIAL TO “STAR.”] CHRISTCHURCH, April 18. The Beaumont Racing Club will hold its annual race meeting on the Beaumont course on Saturday. Because of its clashing with Riverton, the fields will be fairly light. The single pool system will be used, and the following horses should race well: Trial Handicap: Venturesome, Ellon, Tuapeka. Tuapeka Trot: Dalziel, Sir Dighton, Quite Certain.
