Forecast: Fair to Fine. ' The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office Wellington, at noon to-day:— Situation: An anti-cyclone extends across the South Tasman Sea on to ■ the South Island. ' Forecast to 5 p.m., to-morrow: Light to moderate variable winds; weather fair to fine; temperatures moderate. Further outlook: Fair. LOCAL RECORDINGS. 9 a.m.—Barometer, 1014; thermometer, 58; wind, easterly (moderate breeze); sky, overcast; bar, moderate swell; river, normal; rainfall, nil. (The total rainfall to date this year now is 20.25 inches.) The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 24ft Gin.
