AMERICANS MAKE 34 ARRESTS
(Recd. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Mar. 1. The Americans have arrested 34 high-ranking bankers in Germany, including the so-called “phantom” industrialist, Frederick Flick, the millionaire director of the Bank of Dresden, reports the Associated Press Frankfurt correspondent. Investigators are seeking evidence for the indictment of these men on a charge that they benefited from the spoils of Nazi aggression.
