LABOUR CONFERENCE OTTAWA, December 10. The' Co-operative Commonwealth Federation invited the British Commonwealth Labour Parties to . a conference in Canacta in September, 1946. The National Secretary, David Lewis, said the British, New Zealand, Australian and South African Parties would certainly be represented. APIA AND NAVY APIA, December 10. H.M.S. cruiser Euryalus arrived on Thursday last and departed on Saturday at noon. During the stay, the personnel were well entertained. Bus rides to places of interest, golf, cricket, tennis and football games ■ were arranged and dances held each evening. A ladies’ committee served tea. coffee and other refreshments each day. Large crowds lined the route, cheering the men as they passed. Officers and men declared Apia hospitality was wonderful and wished a longer stay. The destroyer Terpsichore was here from October 19 to 23, and also had a wonderful time and said Apia was one of the best ports of call in the Pacific. LOU ROSA’S MISHAP. AUCKLAND, December 11.
