[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ’ REEFTON, December 7. A decision as to the shopping hours, which will be observed by retail houses at Reefton, will be made at a special meeting for next week, when the recent amendments to the Shops and Offices Act will be considered. The executive of the Reefton Business Men’s Association resolved to leave the decision as to the new closing hours to a full meeting of all Reefton business houses. Two special service buses returned from Canterbury to-day travelling to Greymouth via Lewis Pass. Yesterday several buses made the trip to Canterbury, and this makes the return complete of all vehicles which were used in the transport of passengers to and from Canterbury via Lewis Pass Road.
