LATE MESSAGES
GANGSTERS IN BRITAIN LONDON, December 6. Three more cases of gangsterism quickly followed the kidnapping and jewellery theft, says the “Evening News.” Firstly, an armed gang raided a store and escaped with one hundred Christmas turkeys. Secondly, a kidnapping gang freed a young woman after finding she did not possess the keys for which she was enticed into a car. Thirdly, an armed gang on a country road did not succeed in capturing factory wages, when the intended victims sharply reversed the cai' away from a roadblock.
