WESTLAND’S PROGRESS.
I [to the editor.] Sir,—I have read in the “Star” the comment of Mr. J. Saunders on a report received from the National Service Director. I think it is time we all got together, that is every union and local body in Westland, and gave the Progress League our full support. There is no other part of New Zealand where more has gone from in the way of gold, coal and timber than from the Coast and it is time the Coast had something in return. Or are we on the Coast going to let the Coast go into decay? Yours, etc., A. M. ROSS.
