CAR POUNDS.

NEW YORK, October. 22. Motorists who in- future disobey New York’s traffic parking regulations will have their cars impounded. Police, seeking to relieve the serious mid-town traffic congestion, have established two pounds, to which they will remove vehicles parked for more than three hours in a prohibited area. Owners will be obliged to prove their ownership and pay a fine, in addition to a substantial towing fee. Parking has been banned in five of flbe city’s busiest streets.
