WEDDING
KROENING—ISHERWOOD. The wedding took place recently at Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, of Jean, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Isherwood, Runanga. to George Frederick Kroening, of Cobden. Rev. E. O. Harding- officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her brother-in-law, Mr. P. Jenkin, wore an embossed two-piece suit of rose pink wool georgette. Her headpiece was of pink, veil and tulips, and the bouquet was of Spring flowers with, maidenhair fern. She wore a halfsovereign brooch, the gift of her grandmother. Mrs. Jenkin, sister of the bride, was matron of honour. She wore a blue embossed two-piece suit, with blue head veil and tulips. Her bouquet was also of Spring flowers. As the bride, left the church she was presented with two horseshoes, one from her niece, Miss Noeline Jenkin and one from Master John Speakman. A reception was held at Harker’s, where the bride’s mother 'received the guests, wearing a black edge to edge coat over a wine frock, with accessories and a shoulder spray to tone. She was assisted by the bride-, groom’s mother, Mrs. Gabrialson. who wore a green coat over a floral frock, with accessories and shoulder spray to tone. Mr. and Mrs. Kroening left by railcar for Nelson, the bride wearing a black model frock with fur jogger. '
