Warm temperatures prevailed at Greymouth during the Labour week-end, and yesterday the highest thermometer reading since last Summer was recorded. Saturday s afternoon reading was 52 degrees, Sunday s 56, with 62 at 6 p.m. and yesterday 63 was recorded at 3 p.m., with 64 at 6 o clock. Today’s temperature at 3 p.m. was 60 degrees. On Sunday, as an indication of the warmth o< the sun, a number of bathers were observed making their first “dip” at Blaketown.
