PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE Estates to the value of £1,073,260 were reported and accepted lor administration by the Public during the month of August. The total value of estates and funds under, administration by the Public Trustee on March 31, 1945, was £67,867,066, and the new business for the five monthb ended August. 31, was Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Pub ic Trustee numbered 377 for the month. Duiing the month 536 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodt,cd for safe custody, and 490 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held m th-e Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 130,609.
