ALBANIA AND GREECE. (Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, October 5. The Albanian Premier, Hoxha, at a Press accused Greece, of “every conceivable provocation against Albania.” says the Associated Press correspondent at Tirana. “Albania, if attacked, would fight to a man to repel the invader,” said Hoxha. He added that the Greek Government had been agitating for the return of South Albania. Provocation included massacres of large groups of people. Albania was friendly towards Greece as a whole, and would like to maintain good relations, but they were impossible so long as Greece was trying to take Albanian Hoxha dismissed the prospect of a Balkan Federation as impracticable. He added that Albania wanted to retain complete independence and sovereignty.
