MINING The Rimu gold dredge return for the clean-up period September 18 to October 2, 1945, was 294.15 crude ozs. from 83,953 yards in 2321 hours. September totals were 581 oz. from 179,031 yards in 483 hours. Returns for the month of Septemor>—Kanieri dredge ran 497 hours and treated 221,000 yards for a return of 1 178 ounces. Arahura dredge ran 478 hoprs and treated 246,000 yards for a h?turn of 1,034 ounces.
