Returns for the first half of September were: Kanieri dredge ran 263 hours and treated 107,000 yards for a return of 568 ounces. Arahura dredge ran 233 hours and treated 110,000 yards for a return of 492 ounces. Associated Gold Dredges (N.Z.): For the week ended September. 15 the company’s dredges recovered 135-2 ounces from 57,320 yards in 338-J dredging hours. Clutha River: For the week ended September 14, the dredge worked for 100 hours and recovered 111 ounces.
