INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
(Recd. 11 a.m.) LONDON. Sept. 17. Representatives of fourteen nations are meeting in London as the new International Air Transport Association superceding the International Air Traffic Association founded in 1919. Lord Winster, opening the conference, said that orderly development required a degree of regulation, but this did not imply restriction. Britain was confident in her ability to build up services second to none but orderly regulated traffic meant that every nation must have an eqquitable share. For that end. Britain was willing to forego advantages at present possessed. The conference went into private session.
