SPECIAL CARS FOR INJURED.
NEW YORK, July 13. Ford cars are to be provided, free of cost, with special equipment, to permit disabled servicemen to drive in comfort. Announcing the plan to-day, Mr. Henry Ford said, “No man who has lost a limb in the Armed Services is going to pay anything extra. We do hot want any profit incentive to enter this picture*’ At the request of the Surgeon-Gen-eral’s Office, the industry has developed a series of appliances enabling men with every known combination of amputation to w drive a car.
