AUSTRIAN DELEGATE LONDON, July 23/ The Vienna radio says that Renner states categorically he had not charged Jean Lambert, whose real name is Ernst Lemberger, with any mission, and his claim to have been sent to London and Paris as the Chancellor’s .special envoy, or Austrian Government emissary, was false. Renner added that Lemberger was charged with ' resuming contacts between the Austrian and French Socialist parties, and to that extent was an emissary of the Austrian Socialists. , UNRRA IN CHINA NEW DEHLI, July 23. Francis Sayres, Chief of UNRRA mission to India, in a broadcast, said: UNRRA hoped to pour relief goods into China in ever increasing quantities, when the supply port opened. UNRRA was already in Chungking making arrangements with the Chinese Government. India was displaying a growing spirit of close international co-operation. U.S.A. NAVY. WASHINGTON, July 23. The Navy announced that the last United States warships have been withdrawn from the United Kingdom waters. GREEK UNITY. ATHENS. July 23. The Greek Foreign Minister, M. Sopianopoulos, has resigned. He stated he was satisfied that Greek interests would be best served by the formation of a Government wherein all political parties were represented. ’ Such a Government, which should be formed without delay, would represent a united Greece, inspire a feeling of security, and would be able to hold genuine elections. Six members of EAM were sentenced to death for killing two policemen in last December’s uprisings. Four others were imprisoned for life.
