MINING Associated Gold Dredges.—For the week ended July 21 the company’s dredges recovered 122a0z from 44,930 yards in 320 dredging hours. Clutha River Dredge.—The return for the week ended July 20 was 1240 z in 92 hours. The yardage for the four weeks was 134,000. Gillespie’s Beach.—The return was 16oz sdwt in 202 hours from 26,721 yards. The return from the Slab Hut Creek dredge for the week ended July 20 was 43ozs from 20,800 yards in 124 hours. INSURANCE - SHARES AUCKLAND, July 24. An investment milestone was reached on the Auckland Stock Exchange this morning when New Zealand Insurance shares touched a new peak at £5, and South British at £4/10/-. Since the beginning of the year shareholders of the New Zealand Company have had £825,000 added to the value of their holdings and those of South British,' £644,775.
