BLAKETOWN v. COBDEN The long-awaited meeting between Cobden and Blaketown seniors will take place at Rugby Park to-morrow afternoon and it should attract the best club gate of the season. When they last met Blaketown were the winners, but Cobden have improved since then and neither has yet lost a game in the championship. This will be the last match of the first round, and has excited keen interest, with Cobden anxious to make amends for their defeat, and Blaketown keen to win again and confident that they can. Granted fine weather it should be a fine game. On the No. 2 ground at the Park Star-United will meet Celtic and at Hokitika Kiwi-Excelsior will play St. Mary’s. Lower grade matches will be played at the Park on the Tech, ground. Teams include: —- Blaketown seniors v.
