DUNEDIN NORTH
FINAL CAMPAIGN ADDPiESSES DUNEDIN, July 19. The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) entered the lists to-night on behalf of Mr. R. Walls, the Labour candidate in the Dunedin North by-election, when he addressed a meeting of more than 2000 in the Town Hall. He was given a favourable reception, and lhere were few interruptions. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr. Holland), who is supporting the National candidate, Mr. N. H. Jones, visited the Labour stronghold of Port Chalmers, where he had a very successful meeting, attended by some 500 persons. There were a few interjecilons early, but for more than an hour Mr. Holland had the full attention of his audience, and, at the close received a vote of thanks. Others who addressed meetings today were Mr. Goosman, M.P., Mr. W. Sullivan, M.P., and Mr. Bowden, M.P., National Party, and Miss Mabel Howard, Labour Party.
