SURRENDER DEFENDED
(R ‘ ' SALZBURG, July 19. “I am human and have made mistakes but they were mistakes ot method not principle,’ said King Leopold, in an interview. “I have a clear conscience which, cannot be said 01 many people I trusted.” Justifying surrender in 1940, King Leopold said it was impossible to fight longer. “I surrendered with the words ‘I am your prisoner,’ jvist like any other soldier.
