SIMLA CONFERENCE
' LEADERS’ ESTIMATES RUGBY, July 19. Despite the failure to reach the set objective of the recent Simla conference, Sir Ghulan Hussein Hidayatullah Allin, Moslem League Premier of ;the Coalition Government of Sind, ; who has just returned to Karachi from Simla, said he hoped the talk on India’s Government would be reopened and the Viceroy make one more effort in that direction. Doctor Azad, Congress Party President, in a dispatch from Calcutta said ! that although the conference had failied, it had all the same contributed to India’s political advancement by clearing the atmosphere and leading to wider " comprehension of Britain’s point of view as well as that of India.
