WEATHER FORECAST The following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day. Situation: A depression east of the North Island is moving slowly eastward. A cold front is approaching the South Island from the southwest. Forecast to 5 n.m. Tuesday: Variable winds. Weather fair to fine at first, but occasional rain developing from the south to-morrow. Cool temperatures. ; Further outlook: Weather becoming fair again.
