John Gay’s Owner: Mr. D. McFarlane, the owner of Amorlad, is the new owner of John Gay, and the Theio gelding is now a member of A. E. Didham’s team.

At Oamaru: Indemnity, which will race in the Oamaru Juvenile Stakes, is trained at Prebbleton by V. Leeming, and is by Dillon Hall from First Water, which has left winners in Rocks Ahead, Ned Worthy, Aqua Bond and Nell Grattan.

Another Change: Jack’s Treasure, which was purchased by Mr. J. August after winning the Noble Memorial Handicap at the WestportReefton Trotting Club’s meeting on December 27, has been transferred from L. O. Thomas’s stable to R. Motz’s stable at New Brighton.

Two-year-old Winners: Winning form has been shown by 45 two-year-olds this season. This division has had no outstanding individual performer, while its members tried at weight-for-age failed to make the grade. Al-Sirat, in spite of his failure to hold his form, goes into Winter quarters as the biggest winner, with £2,200 to his credit. He is closely followed by the consistent Gigli, £2,197, while other winners of £4OO or more are Balmacara (£1,525), Deprive (£1,418), White Blaze (£l,295), Duplicity (£1,265), Majestic (£1,075), Baimor'e (£915), Black Acre (£850), Psalm ( £815), Essay ( £715), Lord Coronach (£600), Good Company (£615), Montezuma (£530), Drambuie (£500), Fearless ( £520), Gay Star ( £460), Loch Derg (£440), Behave (£435), Palissy (£420), Royal Raider (£405), and Derene (£400). The North Island two-year-olds fared much better than their southern rivals, gaining 16 places in the first 22 horses in the list. White Blaze is the biggest winner among the fillies. . OAMARU RACES.
