The King has approved the apr pointment of Lord Linlithgow (Viceroy of India) as Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. —8.0.W.
- The Minister of Transport and Marine, Mr. O’Brien, arrived in Greymouth from Wellington, yesterday afternoon. He was accompanied by Mrs. O’Brien and his secretary, Miss C. Moore.
