The depth on the bar at high water this morning was 24ft. 7ins. WEATHER-FORECAST. The following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day. Situation: An anti-cyclone, central to north-west, covers the Dominion and a trough is advancing over the South-western Tasman. Forecast to 5 p.m., Wednesday: Moderate to fresh north-westerly winds prevailing; weather, cloudy with scattered rain becoming more general during to-morrow. Further outlook: Occasional showers.
