V.C. AWARDS . LONDON, November 7. Five awards of the Victoria Cross were announced in one day last week, but lhe number of V.C’s awarded in this war is. still far below the last war’s total. In this war 115 V.C.’s have been won as compared with 633 in the Great War. In the South African War and other wars before 1914 the total was 525.
