The following is the district forecast issued by . the Meteorological Office, Wellington', to-day:— Situation: An anti-cyclone is centred north-east of Auckland and a deep trough is in the Western Tasman. , Forecast to 5 p.m. Thursday: Moderate winds from a northerly quarter predominating. Weather: Fair to cloudy. Rain developing to-morrow. Temperatures moderate to mild. Further outlook: Unsettled.
